Blue Ridge Guide Service is a full-time guide service owned and operated by Keith Courtney. He has been fishing lake Jocassee since 1986 and guiding since 1990. Blue Ridge Guide Service has the equipment and experience to make your trip memorable.

Jocassee, surrounded by pristine mountains with beautiful forest, cascading waterfalls, sheer rock cliffs, white sand beaches and crystal clear water, is the most scenic lake in South Carolina.

In the 7,565 acres of Jocassee waters lie trophy Rainbow and Brown trout that can be caught year around, however the best fishing is from November-June.

The pontoon boat is 30' which is the largest guide boat on Lake Jocassee.

Yes, the boat has a bathroom.

Is the boat covered?

Yes, the boat has a hardtop and Bimini top protecting you from inclement weather. The hardtop can be used for sunning or jumping into the lake.

Is there a grill on the boat?

Yes, there is a grill on the boat along with a mini kitchen for prepping food.

How do you stay warm on the boat?

There is a cabin heater. It is recommended that guests bring appropriate attire for the weather.

Does the boat have means to charge devices?

Yes, there is a generator for electrical needs.
